Labiaplasty

A relatively common occurrence, women can experience enlarged, irregular, or asymmetrical labia majora and/or minor, as a result of heredity, childbirth, or weight loss. With this condition, many women struggle with discomfort in tightly fitting clothing and bathing suits, and unease in intimacy. At Platte Valley Aesthetic Surgery, we understand that surgery on the labia is an extremely personal choice and will be treated with the utmost sensitivity.

During the procedure, a small incision is made on the labia, where the tissue is then retracted and the labia is made smaller. Labiaplasty is a fairly minor procedure and generally has minimal discomfort. You will experience three to five days of rest with full results after about a month. The condition rarely returns, with the results of the procedure often lasting a lifetime. Dr. Atchison will provide all of the details necessary to determine if this procedure is right for you.
